Since leaving Khe Sanh they have been running operation after operation. His regiment was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation. He will have "R&R" in Australia soon and when he returns should have about "35 days left in this green fuckin country." Asks after Joanna, the Bealls, and the cats. Note at bottom of letter in HCW's hand: "Dear Allan-would you return sons letter to me someday. Thanks. C. He wants to be an artist."
