Mentions problems at home--her mother keeps wanting to use J.'s studio to entertain guests and her father expects her to drop everything and do work for him. Laments that everyone expects her to do things for them that interfere with her work/life. Recounts last night's dinner fiasco with her family - -"grim scenes."
