'Beautifully painted envelope, 4 1/4' x 9-1/5', and [two-page] letter enclosing 2 more old postcards. Discusses the pull between work on their house and their own work. On the back is a working drawing on a commission he did, `Man Lost in the Swamps.' 8' x 10 3/4' framed. He's going to Chicago to sign prints done in January.'
