1st year of issue of the Tourist series of maps by Mitchell. Earlier issue than the 1834 date used by Ristow and Schwartz & Ehrenberg as the start of the Tourist Pocket map series. With a paste down sheet of the 1830 census of Pennsylvania. Full color. Map is folded into brown leather covers 12.5x7.5 with "Pennsylvania" in gilt. Prime meridians are Washington D.C. and Greenwich. Relief shown by hachures.
