Note:
In 1830 the Massachusetts Legislature required the Towns to draw up accurate surveys. In the period of 1830-32, Annin & Smith, Pendleton's, and Senefelder printed these plans. They are some of the earlier examples of American lithographic maps. Cadastral map printed without color, showing landowner's names, roads and land boundaries. Relief shown by hachures.
