Important Alaska Gold Rush Map. Map is taken from the Coast Survey map, with much information added. Emmons' booklet, 24x15, is 44 pages, useful description of the country, trails, etc. The first edition of the Coast Survey map was 1890 (in the 1890 annual report), with subsequent updated editions in 1895 (in the 1896 annual) and 1898 (in the 1897 annual). This map is based on the 1898 Coast Survey map.
