Published as an inexpensive ($1) and convenient guide to Yosemite Valley and the Big Trees. It was popular. The text is based on "The Yosemite Book" of 1868 and the full-sized edition of "The Yosemite Guide-Book". For the first time this pocket edition includes maps of Hetch Hetchy Valley and the Sierra Nevada adjacent to Yosemite Valley.
