Brink published 22 county atlases, about half in Illinois and half in Missouri, under the names W.R. Brink & Co., Brink, McCormick & Co., and Brink McDonough & Co. Their title pages often had signed portraits on them - in this case a portrait of Gen. Jesse J. Phillips with an impressive border. Many views and plats are intermixed with biographies and local histories. Brink's views are exceptional in that they often combine the "normal house view" with a birds eye view and a map. Maps in full color.
