Note:
Very late date for this map. Many changes in the built area of the city, when comparing this to the 1881 and 1873 issues. Concentric circles are added showing distances from the Ferry Building, and many subdivisions have been added in the southern and western parts of the city. This map shows the downtown filled in solid with buildings, and new development pushing outward. The index is unchanged from the 1881 edition. The internal development of Golden Gate Park has been extended all the way to the ocean. With the signature of a real estate agent who appears to have located some lots for his client in red on the map. Map is folded into light blue card board covers 18x11.5 with "Bancroft's Map Of San Francisco. The Bancroft Company Booksellers And Stationers San Francisco, Cal. 25 Cents" printed in black.
