Scarce map copyright 1880 by Page, with Blake's title stamped on. The map has stamped on "Blake's New Map of Colorado." The inside covers have various information about Blake's Hand-Book of Colorado for 1881 and useful Colorado statistics and Mining facts. Not listed in Ellis or any other reference. A. Loehnes is listed as the engraver. This map appears in Page's county atlases of 1885 and 1886, updated to show new counties and railroads. Page does not list Colorado in his catalogue for 1881 (see Dakota map 1881) so he may have had an exclusive agreement with Blake for distribution of the Colorado map. Full color by county, folded into light green card board covers 14.5x9 printed with "The Latest And Best. Blake's New Map and Manual Of Colorado ... Fifth Edition. Enlarged And Newly Revised. Denver, Col. J.A. Blake, Publisher. 1881."
