A combined state and county atlas. The county maps are similar but smaller than Hopkins' 1860 wall map of New Jersey. The maps of Hudson County are very detailed, showing all the plots and land owners. Hopkins did primarily City and Town atlases, so this county atlas is unusual for him - however, with Hudson County being directly across the river from New York City, it was very urban in character and thus this is almost a city atlas in county form. Full color.
