In the tradition of Soulier - an amazing mix of political, physical, and historical maps. This book was also approved for (says on the title page) and used in (see child's drawing on verso's of some maps) schools. The physical maps are very sophisticated, showing economic information as well. Maps are printed and hand painted in full color and bound in quarter leather tan paper covered boards with the title from the title page printed on the front cover. The spine is stamped in gilt with "Drioux Et Ch. Leroy. Atlas Universel Et Classique. Librairie Eug. Belin."
