The map extends from Donner Pass Summit at lower left corner to Blue Mountain at lower right, from Reno beneath the cartouche at upper left to Walker Lake at upper right. "Painted by Gerald A. Eddy Glendale Calif." As well as topographical features such as mountains and lakes, many ski areas etc are named, such as Squaw Valley Ski Area, Tahoe City Ski Hill, Bijou Ski Hill Golf Course. One of the maps on the verso marks and names the many resorts and hotels clustered around the lake.
