These are the six mural-maps that Miguel Covarrubias painted for Pacific House, the theme building of the Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco in 1939. They are photo-offset lithographic maps printed by H.S. Crocker Company and Schwabacher-Frey Company. José Miguel Covarrubias Duclaud was a Mexican painter and caricaturist, theater set designer, ethnologist and art historian very well known in the United States as well as in Merxico.
