The only county atlas made by L.Q. Hardesty, although H.H. Hardesty (his brother?) produced many in the style of the Historical Hand Atlas Illustrated - which combined a world atlas and a county atlas (see our copy). L.Q.'s atlas is more conventional, with views and plats, but what makes it unusual is the location of the county - on the shores of Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay. Thus many of the views show the lake, the bay, and steamers, wineries, etc. Full color.
