Received HCW's letter indicating that he would not be able to visit Polvent in California. Declines HCW's offer to pay his way for a visit out east. Intends to send HCW some short stories, poetry and a short book he wrote. He indicates that since learning of HCW's existence in 1965, he has signed most of his poetry, etc. with the name Clifford John Westermann and would like to continue doing so, but would like to add the extra "n."
