Description
"Dearest Wild Man;" She doesn't think he should get involved selling drawings to help pay the printers; the landscape she is working on is good--she finally understands the 19th century American landscapes. She's been copying one by Asher Durand, and discusses painting techniques. Her father has had a setback [health related]. There is an article in Art in America about the Russian who sent her letters in San Francisco. She'd like to take a trip to the places in the postcards he's sending--Black Hills of Dakota. She recalls going through Ojai with HCW.
