He was in Kansas City for the opening of his art show, and stayed with the [Jim] Morgans. While there he saw HCW’s “’Tierra del Feigo’ (sp) and the pioneer drawing with the little pool and all the junk around it with the snarling dingo snout just sticking out from the corner of the shack.” He also saw the Other Side of the Mountain and though it was one of the most beautiful things he’s ever seen.
