In the background, boats of different sizes travel on the water.

The nishiki-e print depicts the prosperous Tokyo Nihonbashi. There is a high biling place in the south of Nihonbashi, and in front of it, there are various horse-drawn carriages, people, rickshaws, bicycles, hikyaku, etc. going across Nihonbashi.
